- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Mix in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl whisk flour baking soda salt and cinnamon.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture.
- Stir in oats and raisins.
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
- Use old-fashioned oats for the best chewy texture.
- Soak raisins in warm water for 10 minutes for extra softness.
- Do not overbake for a soft, chewy center.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
