Method
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined.
- Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Beat on medium speed for 2–3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Spread immediately on cakes or cupcakes, or refrigerate until ready to use.
Notes
- For a firmer frosting, chill for 15–20 minutes before spreading.
