Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into a greased 9x9-inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over batter.
  6. Mix brown sugar and cream, drizzle over pecans.
  7. Bake 35-40 minutes until golden and set.
  8. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra richness, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle with caramel sauce.
