Luscious Cinnamon Cream Cheese Muffins Recipe

These muffins are soft, fluffy, and bursting with a creamy cinnamon center. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet snack, they combine the rich flavor of cream cheese with warm cinnamon swirls. Easy to make and irresistibly delicious, they’re a treat for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar for cinnamon swirl
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon for cinnamon swirl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugars, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, 2 tbsp sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon for the swirl.
  6. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, add a dollop of cream cheese mixture, then top with remaining batter.
  7. Use a toothpick to gently swirl the cream cheese into the batter.
  8. Bake for 22–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let muffins cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle a cinnamon sugar topping before baking.
