Homemade White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts roughly chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  6. Fold in white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, toast the macadamia nuts lightly before adding to the dough.
