Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Gently separate kunafa strands and brush with melted butter.
- Shape strands into small nest molds on a baking tray.
- Bake nests for 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Meanwhile, prepare sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water for 5 minutes, then add rose water.
- Remove gulab jamuns from packaging and cut in halves if desired.
- Place a gulab jamun into each cooled kunafa nest.
- Drizzle lightly with warm sugar syrup.
- Garnish with crushed pistachios and serve.
Notes
- Serve immediately for best crispiness; kunafa can lose crunch if soaked too long in syrup.
