Method
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef with diced onion and garlic until fully cooked.
- Add crushed tomatoes, broth, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender, about 8–10 minutes.
- Stir in ricotta cheese until creamy, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
