Method
- Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine cream, milk, sugar, and coffee granules and heat until sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and stir in bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Pour mixture into serving glasses or molds.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
- Serve chilled, optionally garnished with whipped cream or chocolate shavings
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of instant coffee; can be prepared a day ahead.
