- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in Rice Krispies cereal and chopped cherries until coated.
- Press mixture evenly into a greased 9x13-inch pan.
- Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
- Pour melted chocolate over the Rice Krispies mixture and spread evenly.
- Let cool completely at room temperature, then cut into squares.
Notes
- For extra cherry flavor, drizzle some cherry syrup over the top before adding chocolate.
