Method
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Lay out an egg roll wrapper and place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center.
- Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper, then roll tightly, sealing edges with beaten egg.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry egg rolls until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
Notes
- You can bake instead of frying for a healthier option; brush with oil and bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes.
