Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, cake mix, egg, and vegetable oil.
- Mix until smooth and fully combined.
- Spoon or pipe the batter evenly into the donut pan cavities.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow donuts to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Do not overmix the batter to keep donuts soft and fluffy.
- Add a cinnamon sugar coating for extra flavor.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- You can substitute yellow cake mix and add 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice if needed.
