Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz 226g cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup 113g unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add softened butter and beat until fully combined and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing on low speed.
  4. Add vanilla extract and beat on medium speed until light and smooth.
  5. Spread or pipe onto completely cooled cakes or cupcakes.

Notes

  • Make sure cream cheese and butter are fully softened to avoid lumps.
  • Sift powdered sugar for extra smooth texture.
  • Chill frosting for 15–20 minutes if you prefer a thicker consistency.
